The Dumbest Apps of 2012

AppsMain The Dumbest Apps of 2012

We’re more than a fortnight into 2012, and that’s seven days more than we required to discover the worst iPhone apps. It may well look a bit early, but we’d like to present the worst apps of 2012 and outright challenge the forces of stupidity and greed to come up with a thing worse (simply because that’ll retain them busy, and stop them from instituting any new airport safety measures or reality exhibits).

1. 2012 Countdown

This is less an application than an intelligence test, a meta-check you fail by taking. In truth, it’s less an application than pushing the iPhone display, which is all you need to start your phone’s regular calendar app to locate out what date it is (an app which has several benefits including becoming totally free, conserving you set up, and NOT advertising and marketing to absolutely everyone who sees your telephone that you’re a gullible idiot).

Even the app is aware of this, and saves you the bother of ever starting it by printing the quantity of days right up until 21/12/2012 right on the app icon. This is an urgent time-saver, simply because the sort of particular person who would like to know that number will have forgotten to breathe although dealing with such complex mathematics. Fortunately, they can hold their breath for a complete minute lengthier than typical humans because more brain damage is undetectable.

2. New Vehicle Models (2012 Cars)

We’re not saying this app aims very low, but it includes the keyword twice in its personal title. And the keyword is “cars.” There are books about a ball, a massive ball (a huge red ball) with more faith in their readers’ literary competencies.

The New Automobile Designs app collects manufacturer previews of new vehicles, and can only be a scientific work to discover and tag a new breed of super-moron who likes viewing movies on the web but can’t work YouTube. Empty boxes have far more valuable content because you can breathe thin air.

three. 2012 – A New Age for Guy?

Nothing says high quality content like a question mark in the title. It sounds like even the developers couldn’t get through the thought without wondering if they have been making a error, and if they’d had a 2nd IQ point the wouldn’t have had to wonder. And been twice as smart. You could say that A New Age for Guy? is just an additional video collection app, but that would be like saying the Hanta virus is just one more skin irritation.

This is adequate electronically weaponised stupidity to render Lex Luthor permanently harmless, and incontinent. We’re not saying that any person who’d watch these movies does not have sufficient intelligence to perform their own colons, but only simply because your sense of smell doesn’t get sufficient odds to inform you factors.
