Sony Xperia GX is close to release

The Sony Xperia GX smartphone is very close to release, having just gone through the approval process at the American FTC. The Sony Xperia GX will be the flagship Android smarthpone from Sony, and will feature a large 4.6″ touchscreen, speedy hardware, and other exclusive Sony technologies.
The Sony Xperia GX will also include a Sony-made 13 megapixel camera which reportedly includes some state of the art optics and CMOS sensor features. The phone will be available in 8 and 16 GB configurations, and will have a micrSD card slot for memory expansion. Inside the sleek design is a 1.2 GHz dual core CPU, 1 GB of RAM, and support for HSPA, 3G and LTE speeds.
The Sony Xperia GX is slated for release later this Summer and will hit all major carriers, including AT&T and Verizon. The Sony Xperia GX price is yet to be revealed, but we expect it to be priced competitively in the $ 200 to $ 300 range.
