The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 has been leaked, according to a new rumor originating from Samsung’s own Facebook page. The Samsung Galaxy S3 smartphone has been out now for a few months, and that means that the next Samsung device in line for a major overhaul is the Galaxy Note. It’s a larger smartphone that slots in between a small tablet and a smartphone, while still fitting inside of a pocket. Or most pockets, anyway. Now it appears that the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 has been leaked, featuring a massive 5.5 inch screen.
The full details on the device are unknown, but the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will have a 5.5 inch screen, as the image above confirms. That likely means a 720p resolution. It also shows the expected front VGA camera, which is common on almost all new devices. And just like the Galaxy S3, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will be powered by Android 4.0. Inside, the specs have been rumored to include many of the same parts that power the S3: a 1.5 GHz quad core CPU, 1 GB of RAM, and availability in 16 and 32 GB storage flavors. It’l likely also include a stylus, like the old version.
It’s unknown when the new Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will launch, but it’ll likely hit the stores during the Holiday shopping season, just like the original Samsung Galaxy Note did.
