droid bionic official e1316806155865 320x600 300x562 Motorola Preparing a new Soak Test for the Droid BionicIt appears like Motorola is finding prepared to do yet another soak test for the Droid Bionic, but is it for Ice Cream Sandwich or just a bug repair update which will hopefully prevent the infamous information drops we see continually and get annoyed by. We have noticed many reports that men and women are obtaining emails from Motorola’s Feedback Network about a soak check for their Droid Bionic.

We really don’t know for certain what update this is, but we are betting it’s the 5.9.902 update that was leaked back in mid-january. Droid-Life has the changelog from that leak, and we have it listed below:

  • Remove VCast Music preload
  • Add Amazon MP3 app preload
  • Motorola Terms and Situations display immediately enables data collection/area specifics
  • Google safety patch to block entry to adjust Property panel icons
  • After factory reset, location consent display shown on activation display
  • Adjust “Terms and Condition” display title to “Motorola Terms of Service”

Hopefully because the leak they have worked on repairing the data drops and the BSOD (Black Display of Death) that many of us have seen. As always we will preserve you updated on this, hopefully I can get into the soak test along with many other individuals.
