Galaxy S III vs. iPhone 4S – Scratch Test Drag Race (Video)
It’s Friday, so it’s never a bad idea to add some weird humor to the beginning of our weekend. In this case though, be prepared for some brutality as a couple of guys just unboxed a brand new Samsung Galaxy S III and an iPhone 4S and made no cuts in the video in order to show that they truly did drag two brand new phones from a car to test the durability of their screens.
Obviously this is more of a Samsung video, since at all times the guy filming is boasting about how well he knows that the Galaxy S III will survive the drag race and that the iPhone 4S won’t. I won’t spoil the results for you, watch the video and see for yourselves.
I will admit that I’m a bit disappointed with the test though. Both my HTC One X and Dell Venue Pro are made with Gorilla Glass. Both fell once on their screens, dragged themselves a little, and both do have scratches on the screen. Bottom line, Gorilla Glass will probably not crack, but that doesn’t mean you won’t have to be showing your phone off with some Wolverine battle scars. I’d honestly call this more of a crack test than a scratch test if I were them, and I’m sure the YouTube community agrees with me through the thumbs down given.
