Apple Patents In-Call App Switching, What Will It Do With It?

“Transportable electronic gadget with graphical user interface supporting application switching” is the title of the patent Apple managed to secure in other words, a smartphone capable of multitasking.
The abstract of the patent (which you can study by following the supply hyperlink) is even far more interesting and looks to apply to those actions exactly where a certain connected contact is currently being maintained while the user interface — “in response to detecting activation of a menu icon or menu button” — switches to something else and then back by following the very same process. The patent is rather exciting and has been filed on January 6, 2008. When Apple’s, we can’t wait to see what Cupertino will do with it.
